GARY's BACK~~! (Leessang members end hiatus, to film ‘Running Man’ and ‘Infinity Challenge’)
Jungle Entertainment has told allkpop that Leessang members Gary and Gil have decided to end their hiatus from variety shows.Gary and Gil announced earlier this week that they would be leaving SBS’ ‘Running Man‘ and MBC‘s ’Infinity Challenge‘, respectively, after the cancellation of the ‘Super 7‘ concert.
Leessang released the following statement:“Hello, all. This is Leessang. Firstly, we sincerely thank all of you who have made us more mature through your encouragement and scolding. We found it too difficult to withstand the names ‘Leessang’, which we’ve worked hard on for the past 10 years, and ‘Leessang Company’, which we’ve started with hopeful ambition, being [put in a negative light], and so we decided to leave the variety industry in order to focus more on our music and concerts. However, because of us, many people were getting hurt, and more than that, we didn’t want to burden our members, who’ve always been loyal and stayed beside us; though we’re ashamed and sorry, we’ll be returning to the programs. We’ll give more music, concerts, and laughs to everyone with a better attitude. Rather than asking you to trust us, we’ll work our hardest so you can. Gil will be participating in this week’s filming of ‘Infinity Challenge’ on September 29, while Gary will be present for the October 1st filming of ‘Running Man

JoongKi's birthday is today and he is now 27 y.o. He is now still on the progress of his new drama, "Nice Guy", that has reached it's 3rd episode today (with Lee Gwang Soo). RUNNING MAN MEMBER'S PROFILE (KIM JONG KOOK)
Kim Jong Kook first entered the Korean music industry in 1995 as a member of the group Turbo, which became immensely popular for their catchy music. After the group disbanded a few years later, he became a solo singer in 2001, mostly concentrating on ballads. Although his unusually high tone of voice is often joked about (with many stars jokingly calling it a "mosquito voice"), he has had many hit singles and has also been a frequent guest on many variety shows, most notably X-Man. In addition, his muscular body is often considered one of the best in K-pop, due to constant weight training.
Kim Jong Kook had a big slump after Turbo; however, he made a huge comeback with his second album. One of the songs in the second solo album called Han Nam Ja (One Man) was the reason for all his success. Furthermore, a scandal rumor with Yoon Eun Hye grabbed a lot of attention. This rumor started because both of them were permanent members of a famous variety show called X-Man. This rumor actually brought them close and they started to act like a couple in X-Man.
By 2005, Kim Jong Kook became one of Korea's most popular artists; his third album sold in excess of 300,000 copies, making it one of the year's best-selling albums in Korea. He capped off that year by sweeping the 3 Daesang from all 3 major TV stations. In doing so, he became only the second artist ever to accomplish this feat since Jo Yong Phil in the 1980s. The lead single from the album, "Lovable", topped many charts. It was also included in Pump It Up and Audition Online.
On January 21, 2006, Kim Jong Kook, Jeon Hye Bin, and Im Tae Kyung participated in Thuy Nga's Paris by Night 81 Vietnamese concert in California. Kim Jong Kook performed "To Her Man".
In March 2006 Kim Jong Kook received his military service enlistment letter at the height of his popularity and career. Kim also released his fourth album around this time, unable to directly promote it while in the military, he used unorthodox methods. To comply with Korean law, the music video was shot so that his face would never be seen on screen. Also, in order to raise awareness, Kim Jong Kook's rumored girlfriend Yoon Eun Hye was asked to star in the music video. Though there has been no direct promotion, his fourth album has sold in excess of 100,000 copies.
It was announced in late April 2008 that the singer would end his military service on May 23, 2008. On that day, he was greeted by fans, and during his interview, he said that he was "relieved". His fifth studio album was released on October 22, 2008 as "Here I am" with the featuring song as "Today More than Yesterday" and "Thank you." Proving the "tradition" of not being able to rise once again after military service false, Kim Jong Kook made a successful comeback, making one album, one digital single [Happy Virus] and one trot [Ddajo].
Kim also returned to television, becoming a permanent member of variety show Family Outing, part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup and earning popularity, especially with the love scandals between Lee Hyori and Park Ye Jin. Kim Jong Kook's Hoolala CF with Kim Sooro was released on July 2009. He has also posed for many advertisement for clothing. His sixth album was released on January 27, and a preview of the album was released with the song "Don't Be Good to Me." However the title song for the album is titled "This is the Person". The music video for the song included Park Ye Jin who is famous for the "Family Outing Scandal" between Kim Jong Kook, Lee Hyori and Park Ye Jin. His sixth album is titled "The Eleventh Story" because in his music career, he has so far released 11 albums. It included 3 MV. Right now, he is a regular on SBS's Running Man.
On August 27, 2010 Kim Jong Kook received a lumbar microdiscectomy back disk surgery at Seoul’s Kwan Ahk Goo Chung Ryong Dong Kangnam Choice hospital. Kim Jong Kook’s management company, 101 Entertainment, stated, “Kim Jong Kook carried on with his daily activities without knowing that he had a ruptured disk. He did feel pain, but didn’t think much of it, and he endured his condition with painkillers while filming SBS Running Man.
Kim Jong Kook active participation in SBS Running Man makes him one of the big names in Korean Variety Shows World. He had been called "SpartaKook" and "The Commander" throughout the SBS Running Man and he has received a favorable evaluation leading the mission with his muscular body and extraordinary intelligence. This proved as he won SBS 연예대상 (SBS Entertainment Awards) Best TV Star Award on 2010 and SBS 연예대상 (SBS Entertainment Awards) Excellence Award on 2011.

RUNNING MAN MEMBER'S PROFILE (YOO JAE SUK)
Yoo Jae-Suk was born as the first child out of three (he has two younger sisters) on August 14, 1972 in Seoul, South Korea. Yoo Jae-Suk attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts, but had been unable to receive his degree due to his busy schedule as a comedian.
His television debut was on the KBS Comedian Festival (for college students) in 1991, performing a parody of a commercial with Choi Seung-Gyung (Hangul: 최승경). In Infinity Challenge, him dancing to a cover of the song "Step by Step" by New Kids on the Block was shown as one of his early memorable moments. After nine years of hard times, in 2000, he hosted a program called Live and Enjoy Together (Dong-guh-dong-lak), thanks to Choi Jin-Sil's recommendation. The program became instantly popular, and since then, Yoo began to host many other variety programs. His potentiality was fully shown when he co-hosted a program called The Crash of MCs (MC 대격돌 – 공포의 쿵쿵따) with Kang Ho-Dong, Lee Hui-Jae and Kim Han-Seok.
His first Grand Prix was for a program called Happy Together Friends, which concept based on TV personalities trying to find their school friends (five of them) out of many (false friends) who are sitting behind the desk. The show brought reminiscence upon the viewers' school days, and became very popular. This Grand Prix is even more memorable, not just because it was Yoo's first one, but it was from the broadcasting system where he debuted.
He hosted the shows X-Man, which soon grew to be very popular, and thus one of the most viewed shows in Korea. During those times, he gained much more popularity and many programs began to nickname Yoo as "MC of the Nation." However, after few years of constant airing, the program was canceled due to failing ratings as well as absence of new ideas, and Yoo went on to host its replacement shows, New X-Man, Old TV (in which guests would re-enact classic TV series), and Haja! Go! (Let's Do It) for SBS, which were all canceled soon, due to low ratings on Sunday evening. However, X-Man has gone on to success in international syndication.
Yoo is a part of the cast of the top-rated comic variety program Muhan Dojeon (무한도전), as the host-in-chief since 2005. Initially a six-member cast, Haha left the program as he was drafted to serve his mandatory military service and was replaced by Shinhwa's Junjin. The program wasn't popular when it first aired, but by the time Season 3 aired in 2006, the concept and format of "variety & reality program" became so popular, and Infinite Challenge became the forerunner of so many programs to follow with the same or similar format. Infinite Challenge is possibly the best program for Yoo, for he met his wife Na Gyoung-Eun (나경은) during season 2, and with the rising popularity and significant effect on general public, Yoo got even more famous. He ended up getting total of three Grand Prix (in 2006, 2007 and 2009) with the program.
Yoo also co-hosts Come to Play (놀러와) with Kim Won-Hee and Happy Together Season 3 (해피 투게더 3) with Park Myung-Soo, Park Mi-Seon and Shin Bong-Seon. Yoo hosted these talk shows for a long period of time (both over 5 years), but the ratings have been constantly high throughout the years. Similar, yet very different, Yoo tries his best to differentiate his hosting styles, both based on the guests and the settings they are situated in.
After those replacement shows on SBS, on June 15, 2008, Yoo, along with Lee Hyori, Yoon Jong-Shin, Kim Soo-Ro, Lee Chun Hee, Kang Dae-Sung, Park Ye-Jin and Kim Jong Kook (since episode 19) are the hosts and family members of Family Outing (Korean: 패밀리가 떴다), part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup. Since then, Family Outing has become one of the top-rated shows in Korea, consistently achieving the highest ratings at Sunday mid-afternoon time-slot (especially during the first and second quarters of 2009). However, with various problems and scandals regarding the program, and by the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010, a rumor of Yoo not continuing his contract with Family Outing was raised. By the time of his contract expiration, Family Outing rating wasn't same as that of beginning of 2009, and Season 1 was brought to an end (on 2010.02.14 with Family Awards).
On July 6, 2008, Yoo Jae-Seok married MBC announcer Na Gyoung-Eun (나경은) who has also worked on the show Infinite Challenge. Yoo and his wife welcomed their first child, a son, on May 1, 2010. He is a Buddhist.
From July 11, 2010, he is hosting in a variety show called Running Man together with Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Kang Hee-gun/Gary (LeeSsang), Ha Dong Hoon, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Kwang Soo andSong Joong-Ki (who has since left the show as of episode 41 to focus on his acting career).

Leessang’s Gary reveals he has no immediate marriage plans on ‘You and I’
Gary stated, “I’m not thinking of marriage yet. I said a childish line during a concert. I once told fans sitting in the audience: ‘I got a girlfriend. It’s you guys.‘”
Gil continued, “I once said a cringeworthy line too. ‘I didn’t drink for three weeks for the concert. I don’t need anything else. The only thing I need is you guys.’ The atmosphere was not good after I said the line. When I began singing, that’s when there was a reaction.”

On the September 17th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, the topic of club culture came up and Yoo Jae Suk said, “I really loved going to nightclubs when I was single. I really went often.”
He went on to explain why he enjoyed nightclubs so much: “I liked the atmosphere, and it was really a lot of fun. I would get very excited when I walked into a nightclub and could hear the music and the booming bass.”
His friend Kim Won Hee responded, “True [nightclub] mania,” and when asked if he only went when he was single, Yoo Jae Suk confessed that, “I would still like to go right now.”

On the September 17th episode of MBC‘s ’Come to Play‘, Kim Eung Soo, Kwon Oh Joong, Eun Ji Won, and Jay Park came out as a panel and discussed their first experiences with love.
It turned out that MC Kim Won Hee, Kwon Oh Joong, and Eun Ji Won had something in common: they all married their first loves.
When Yoo Jae Suk, who married announcer Na Kyung Eun, was asked, “Is your wife your first love,” he responded honestly, “No, she is not my first love.”
When pressed further by the panel, “But when you think about it now, don’t you think your wife is your true first love,” he simply answered, “Yes,” bringing laughter to those gathered.
